To ensure player safety and a consistent team appearance, Onsted Wildcats Soccer has specific gear requirements for each age group. Please review the details below for what your player will need.
Program Specific Requirements
- FUNdamental Program:
- Shin guards are required.
- Soccer cleats are encouraged if you can find them in your child’s size, but they are not mandatory.
- Players use a size 3 soccer ball.
- U6 Program:
- Proper soccer cleats and shin guards are required.
- Players use a size 3 soccer ball.
- U8 Program:
- Proper soccer cleats and shin guards are required.
- Players use a size 4 soccer ball.
- U10, U12, and U15 Programs:
- Proper soccer cleats and shin guards are required.
- For game days, players will need to wear solid black shorts (not supplied) and solid purple knee-high socks (supplied) in addition to their team jersey (supplied).
- U10 and U12 players use a size 4 soccer ball.
- U15 players use a size 5 soccer ball.
Important Reminder: No Jewelry
For the safety of all players and to prevent loss, no jewelry is permitted during any practice or game. This includes, but is not limited to, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, watches, and metal or decorative hair barrettes. Referees will also be checking for these items. Coaches will not be held responsible for any lost jewelry.
